That’s probably true, but really, a lot of the things going on Rare Replay confuses the shit out of me, legally speaking, we have direct NES and N64 emulation going on, we have some games that were published by Nintendo, all there, the thing that creeps me out is the Nintendo logo replaced by Microsoft Games Studios, and even more weird it’s the XBLA version of Perfect Dark, where the N64 logo is replaced by the “4-something” (forgot the studio’s name) logo. People like to hate on games they can’t have just to justify a reason for them missing out on said games. The collection even has a theme song and a nice intro. There are also playlists that let you complete a bunch of challenges from different games in one go. Stamps let’s you unlock special videos, making ofs, game art and soundtrack. You unlock stamps for completing challenges in each game. There is also a digital manual for each game, explaining both controls, gameplay and story of the game, even the first ones. Each game also has a remixed theme on their respective start up screen in the main menu. A lot of the former half of games also have cheats and rewind for new, less experienced players. The collection has 30 games, whereas half of them have snapshot challenges á la NES Remix. Everything these days can get fixed with a patch, it’s not a problem. The only game in the whole collection that was experiencing framedrops was Nuts and Bolts and that got fixed in a recent patch, so there’s not really any technical issues left.
